Complete Tarot Guide

Tarot Card Meanings: All 78 Cards

A Tarot card does not have one rigid sentence attached to it. Its image, number, suit, placement, question, neighboring cards, and the reader’s honest intuition work together. This guide gives a concise foundation for all 78 cards without pretending context does not matter.

How Tarot meanings work in a reading

Start with the card’s established symbolic field, then return to the exact question and the job of the placement. The same card in “what supports me?” should not be flattened into the same message it would give in “what needs to change?” Context creates precision.

Upright and reversed cards

Some readers use reversals and some do not. A reversed card may suggest blocked, internalized, delayed, excessive, or reconsidered energy, but it does not automatically turn a constructive card into something bad. A consistent method matters more than fear-based rules.

Tarot is reflective guidance

Tarot can support reflection, conversation, creativity, and decision awareness. It should not replace qualified medical, legal, financial, veterinary, or mental-health care, and it should not be used to claim certainty about another person’s private thoughts.
